Do you know how unforeseen conditions can erode profits and increase re-work when renovating a historic building? We solve that by mitigating risk by creating accurate and complete as-built documentation. To date, we’ve helped hundreds of architects and engineers to have peace of mind and focus on the design process.
RC Monkeys focuses on bringing certainty to the design process by developing accurate 3D models based on laser scan data, field observations, and record documents. As a result, the project starts with true as-built information, and the ambiguity related to the existing condition of a building could removed from the design process.

Who we think will be a great fit
A reliable Reality Capture Specialist with an understanding of the fundamental aspects of architectural drafting/3D modeling and construction industry practices. The ideal candidate is an individual with an interest in historic preservation, building documentation methods, and an interest in being innovative in process improvement and technology.
You also meet the following requirements:
2-4 years of relevant experience
A degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or similar (applicants without a college degree may be considered given appropriate work experience)
Experience and intermediate proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Ability to read drawings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with customers
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Ability to work on multiple projects and handle multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the standard operation procedures
Attention to detail
Willing to travel up to 15-20% of the time.
